Warning: If you have previously used the method below to install wallpaper on a Windows-based computer, you may overwrite your current Desktop picture! By following the instructions below, Windows typically saves the picture as a file named Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp somewhere inside the Windows directory or sub-directory. If you would like to preserve your current custom Desktop wallpaper, you may wish to first locate this file and rename it for future use.

Windows Wallpaper Instructions.

  1. When the picture below has finished loading, click the right Mouse button on the picture
  2. Select Set As Wallpaper...done!
  • TIPS: Your desktop will look better with less icons. Now might be a good time to delete the ones you don't use. You could also drag them to the edges of the screen.

  • Try changing the colour of your Desktop Icons to match the wallpaper. Go to the Desktop, right click, choose Properties then Appearance. Under Item, make sure the drop-down box says Desktop then click on Color. Choose an appropriate colour (in this case light blue) and click Apply. Done! If you're adventurous, you could click Other under Color and try to get closer to the right shade.
  • Macintosh Wallpaper Instructions

    1. Save the picture below to your hard disk.
    2. Go to Control Panels and pull up Desktop Pictures
    3. Click on Picture (vs Background)
    4. Click on Remove Picture Button will rename itself to Select Picture.
    5. Click on Select Picture. This will bring up a window to your hard drive.
    6. Find and Select the picture you want to use.
    7. Picture will appear in Desktop Pictures Preview Window.
    8. Click Set Desktop.
